What hours this summer is the pool open?
- Times are subject to change due to swim team/social events:

Who can be a lifeguard?
-
Anyone who is at least 15 and 1/2 years old at the time of application, and holds a current American Red Cross Lifeguard Training and CPR for the Professional Rescuer certification.

What is the pay range for a lifeguarding position?

The base pay begins at $9.00 and increases depending on experience.

Do I need to be a member to be a lifeguard?

No.

How do I apply?

Who can be a swim instructor?
- Anyone who has satisfied these requirements:
- minimum age minimum age 15 1/2 years old at time of application
- Current Red Cross Lifeguard Training OR WSI certification AND CPR for the Professional Rescuer certification
- WSI certification; OR previous swim instructor experience; OR at least 3 seasons as a member of a swim team
- NOTE: ALMADEN CABANA CLUB REQUIRES THAT CPR CERTIFICATION BE DONE IN PERSON AND RENEWED EVERY YEAR.

Swim Lessons

Does the Cabana offer swimming lessons?
-
Absolutely. All you need to do is fill out the swim lesson form and drop
it with payment in the brown mailbox on the front gate. More information
is available at the Swim Lessons page.

Do you have to be a member to take lessons?

Nope. Lessons are available for both members and non-members.

How old does my child have to be?
-
Children need to be potty trained, out of diapers and at least 3 years old to be in the beginning class.

Is there an application, or way to get more info?
